Self Help Program Policy

At its meeting of Thursday 13 July 2017, Council resolved to place the Self Help Program Policy on public exhibition for a period of 28 days.

A copy of this Policy can be viewed by clicking on the name of the policy listed above.

This policy was developed in response to requests from the public for a self help policy for the maintaining and upgrading of transport infrastructure assets which provide a benefit to individuals as well as to the broader community but which cannot be fully funded by Council. The policy provides the opportunity to supplement public funds with private contributions to enable worthwhile projects to proceed.

A hard copy of the Policy is available from Council’s customer service centres in Moree, Boggabilla and Mungindi and the Moree Community Library.
