WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY COORDINATOR
 
PERMANENT FULL TIME 38HRS PER WEEK 
 
  

 

Reporting to the Water & Waste Superintendent, the successful applicant will form part of the Water & Waste Department within Moree Plains Shire Council and hold a Certificate IV in Asset Management (Waste Management) & relevant experience in the field of waste / environmental discipline or willingness to complete the certification upon commencement of the position. It is an inherent requirement that the successful applicant is available to participate in a seven (7) day rotating roster incorporating on call duties when required.

 

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2014 – from Band 2 Level 2 Grade 11 Step 1 $1,124.10 to Step 3 $1,208.45 per 38hr week with grading dependant upon level of experience and qualifications.

Reporting to the Corporate Services Director the successful applicant will have relevant technical and tertiary qualifications at Degree level or higher, along with extensive work related experience in a similar role. The successful applicant must have the ability to effectively manage the planning, design, selection, implementation, use and administration of emerging and converging information and communications technologies.
