Moree Plains Shire Council wishes to advise that they will be carrying out Weed Spraying on Council’s Ovals and in surrounding villages commencing Monday, 3 July 2017 for 1 week (weather permitting). Signage will be in place advising of the activity.

Herbicide Spraying Program

 
To ensure our parks, garden, reserves, playgrounds, sports fields, verges, nature strips and open spaces are maintained, Council will undertake selective herbicide spraying throughout the Shire to control weeds as required, and as weather conditions dictate. Notice will be given via Council’s Website, Facebook, or by local radio.

Our Customer service standard aims to complete the following;
Sportsfields and Reserves will be sign-posted prior to spraying
Reserves with Playground areas will be sign-posted prior to spraying
Roadside Furniture
Education Centres, Nursing Homes, Community Health Centres, Kindergardens will be contacted in writing 48 hours prior to spraying
