Moree Plains residents love the Kerbside Bulk Waste collection service, which occurs in March and August each year. The Bulk and Green Waste Clean up provides a clean up service for solid domestic waste items to every household currently receiving a weekly garbage collection service.

The collection truck won’t be driving up and down the streets looking for waste piles, you must register your address by 4pm the Friday before collection with the Waste Hotline on 1300 736 719 or email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to ensure your waste pile is collected.

For households in Moree and the surrounding area including Gurley, Gwydirville and Bendygleet, you must register with the Waste Hotline by Friday 4 August 2017 for the collection that begins Monday 7 August 2017

For villages and surrounding areas including Ashley, Biniguy, Boggabilla, Boomi, Garah, Mungindi, Pallamallawa, Vitonga Road, Weemelah and Yarraman, you must register by Friday 11 August 11 2017 for pick-ups beginning Monday 14 August 2017.

It is important that items be put out for collection, prior to the nominated date.

Residents must not put out more waste after their area has been collected, as there will only be one collection per household.

Any material left out on the kerb, will be treated as illegal dumping and you maybe issued with an infridgement notice. You will get a pamphlet in your post box telling you about the bulk and green waste cleanup. It will outline how and what you can put out for the kerbside collection.

Make sure the waste is neatly piled at the edge of the kerb, but not blocking the foot-path. It is also important to seperate your green waste from all bulky waste and secure all items to avoid windblown litter.

Moree Plains Shire Council provides a clean up service for solid domestic waste items to every household currently receiving a weekly garbage collection service.

To help the collection run smoothly, please note the following:
