Flood Impact on our Road Network 

Due to recent weather events impacting large parts of the Moree Plains Shire, Council has commenced discussions with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) and Public Works to address the road network repairs.

Road and bridge asset inspections will begin from Monday 7 April 2025, (where accessible), to gather the necessary documentation for the TfNSW funding claim. This will facilitate approval for repairs to our road network.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience while we work through the impact done to our Shire.
