Work Experience and Student Placement

Council welcomes and supports students from many educational areas who want to gain work experience. As we are an Employer of Choice, we receive many requests for placements, so please contact us with your dates as soon as possible prior as we cannot always accommodate everyone’s needs.

All applications to gain a work experience or field work placement must be directed to Moree Plains Shire Council’s Human Resources department.

All unpaid students must abide by Council’s policies including Work Health and Safety and Equal Employment Opportunity as well as Council's Code of Conduct and may be restricted in placements due to legislative requirements including safety or working with children.
