Moree Markets

Head to Jellicoe Park and look for something unique, quirky and fresh at the Moree Markets on the first Sunday of each month (not in January). Enjoy the colourful outdoor market scene set amongst shady trees surrounded by grassy parkland.

You will find a variety of treasures, local craft and jewellery, plants and homewares, poultry, sample delectable foods, and buy fresh produce for the table. There are a variety of children’s activities and places to buy coffee and breakfast. From time-to-time, there is local entertainment and music.

The Father’s Day Show and Shine Car Show, which runs in conjunction with the Jellicoe Park Markets, is the largest market day on the Moree calendar.

The Show and Shine Car Show is proudly hosted by the Moree Motor Enthusiast Club each year and brings together an amazing collection of vehicles from across the region, making it one of the biggest vehicle-meets in the north-west.

It is a great way to start your Sunday morning!

While you are there, enjoy the rose garden, which features a covered pergola area and the variety of trees and natural landscapes contribute to the park’s popularity as a location for wedding photos and naming ceremonies; and take the short walk from the park to the fish ladder and weir, which is located on the north-western side of the park.
