We welcomed the announcement by the NSW State Government earlier this week that outdoor playground and exercise equipment can be used with caution from tomorrow, Friday 15 May.

While we know that social distancing would need to be observed and no more than 10 people could gather at such locations, we understand the health and safety of your loved ones remains a top priority. At this stage, we are awaiting guidance on the cleaning needed for the equipment to make sure we have the measures in place to protect those using the equipment and use of any nearby amenities once these are re-opened.

Remember, this includes our ovals because we need to provide adequate handwashing facilities or make arrangements for this. When our ovals are open for organised activities for a restricted number of participants, please contact Council to arrange your bookings.

We understand everyone is keen to enjoy our great outdoor spaces in the Moree Plains so stay tuned for announcements in the coming days.
