My Moree Makeover Challenge

While many of us stuff our faces full of chocolate and binge on Netflix this Easter, doing the right thing by #stayingathome means those long-overlooked projects around the house and garden are just a little more obvious.

We’re talking about that weed filled garden bed. Or that entryway that just needs a little ‘restyling’.

And with plenty of home time on our hands at present, there’s no time like the present for our first

MY MOREE MAKEOVER CHALLENGE

We know that the Moree Plains is filled with many talented gardeners and home decorators, and blessed with the homewares and gift shops, galleries, garden and hardware centres, and tradies - still servicing our community – with the goods to make that little project dream a reality.

So, here’s the deal:

1. Take a before photo of the subject of your makeover project. It can any area inside or outside your home. For instance for inside it could be; a blank wall that you’re going to turn into a gallery wall with family photos and artwork, a room that you’re going to paint, an empty corner you’re going to fill with some beautiful indoor plants in baskets, a bedroom you’re going to rearrange and decorate with new bedspread, or your kitchen that you’re going to spruce up with a new fruit bowl and tea towels. For outside it could be; the fence you’re going to repair or paint, a garden you’re going to replant, a bird bath to fill that empty space. It is limited only by your imagination!
2. Get to work, whether it be restyling, replanting or renovating!
3. Once your makeover is complete, post the before and after pics to Facebook or Instagram, tagging the local Moree Plains businesses where any of your makeover materials have been purchased and including the hashtag #mymoreemakover in your post. Make sure your post is public so that we can see it! Entries close midnight Sunday 24 May 2020.
   (Please note that tagged items don’t have to be new purchases. It’s ok to tag a business for something you bought there some years ago 🙂)

A winner and runner up will be announced in both an indoor and outdoor category, with a $500 Love Local Gift Card for each winner and a $250 Love Local Gift Card for each runner-up.

Entries will be judged on their creativity, popularity and how well they showcase our Moree Plains businesses. The usual Terms and Conditions apply.
