Vale Rodney Brazel

On behalf of the Moree Plains Shire Council, I would like to pay respect to Rodney Brazel, a former Councillor, who sadly passed away yesterday.

Mr. Brazel served as a Councillor for an impressive 21 years, from 1995 -2016, following 35 years in the sheep shearing industry and will be fondly remembered for his contribution to Moree Plains Shire. He was involved with several of Council’s committees and was passionate about progressing significant community projects.

He was a strong advocate for the Pallamallawa community and advocated for improvements to the Gum Flat Reserve which saw a number of improvements during his time on Council.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this difficult time.
