I would like to take the opportunity to let the community know that Council is working closely and is liasoning with the relevant authority bodies to ensure we are prepared for any flood event.

In the meantime, I would strongly encourage residents to remain alert, and prepare yourself and your property against a flooding event.

A flood watch is issued by the SES, based on advice from the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) when flooding is likely. We will continue to keep you well informed, and residents should be prepared to act should flooding occur.

For emergency help in floods and storms, call the NSW State Emergency Service on 132 500. In life-threatening situations call triple zero (000) immediately.
