At its meeting on Thursday 15 December 2022, Council resolved to place the CCTV policy on public exhibition for a period of 28 days.

Council is committed to prioritising community safety through supporting initiatives that reduce the incidence of crime and promote safety. This policy is linked to the Moree Plains Shire Council's Community Strategic Plan 'Our Moree Plains, Our Vision to 2032' theme "Our community is safe, healthy and happy" as it ensures that the Council is advocating for a safe environment for our community.
