Balo Street - New Pergola Construction

Moree Plains Shire Council will be constructing new pergolas on Balo Street in the following locations

- Northern end adjacent to Balo Square
- Northern end between Shell Service Station driveways
- Southern end adjacent to Supercheap Auto

These works will commence on Monday 30 January 2023 and take approximately 4 weeks, pending wet weather and the works schedules of contractors.

Council will aim to keep disruption to a minimum however parking will be restricted in these three areas during construction. Council appreciates your patience during this time.

These works have been made possible thanks to the NSW Government’s Your High Street Grant. This grant provides funding specifically for Balo Street and aims to improve the amenity of the CBD.
