Temporary Road Closure 

Council wishes to advise that there will be a temporary road closure in place this Sunday, 7 January 2024, to dismantle Christmas decorations in our CBD.

The Balo Street closure between Albert and Gwydir Streets will take place from approximately 6am – 6pm this Sunday. During the closure period, motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.

Signage and detour information will be prominently displayed to guide traffic safely around the affected area.

Local businesses and residents in the vicinity are encouraged to plan accordingly for the temporary road closure, with emergency services having been notified and arrangements in place to ensure minimal disruption.
