Public Exhibition of GEGHA - Voluntary Planning Agreement 

Moree Plains Shire Council and Hiringa Sundown Project Co Pty Ltd (as trustee for Hiringa Sundown Project Trust) propose to enter into a Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA), for the development known as the Good Earth Green Hydrogen and Ammonia (GEGHA) Project. The GEGHA project comprises the Wathagar Solar Farm Stage 2 and a Hydrogen plant and Ammonia plant (SSD-58694930) located at Wathagar, Gwydir Highway, Moree.

The objective of the draft VPA is for the developer to provide Council with cash contributions for projects that will provide meaningful and tangible community benefits to development programs delivered by Council.

Exhibition

The draft VPA is on public exhibition for a period of 28 days from Tuesday 4 March 2025 until 31 March February 2025.
The draft VPA and other supporting documentation can also be viewed between 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday at Council’s Administration Office, Level 2 Max Centre, 30 Heber Street, Moree during the exhibition period.
